Technical Support and Fault Tracking

Create fault tickets, track field crews and measure speed, all in the customer portal.

Free for all subscribers

In an internet outage you need quick information and a fix. The Kentağ Fiber support system offers a transparent process from fault ticket to resolution.

Support channels

  • Call centre: 0850 555 29 29, 24/7, average wait time 38 seconds
  • Customer portal: fault tickets, invoices, tariff changes and move notices
  • WhatsApp and live chat: written support and screenshot sharing

How a fault ticket proceeds

  1. A ticket is opened through the portal or by phone and given a number.
  2. A remote line test is run; if the modem is the issue a remote restart is attempted.
  3. If a site visit is needed a technician appointment is given; an SMS arrives when the crew is on its way.
  4. A satisfaction survey is sent after resolution.

88% of faults close within 24 hours. In addition, a daily fee refund for infrastructure outages beyond 24 hours is part of our service quality commitment.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between fibre and ADSL/VDSL?
Fibre uses light signals for much higher speeds (up to 1 Gbps), low latency and near-symmetric upload. ADSL/VDSL runs over copper telephone lines; speed falls with distance from the exchange and rarely exceeds 100 Mbps.
How do I find out whether fibre is available at my address?
Enter your postal code in the coverage check to see service type, top speed and rollout status. If your code is not listed, fill in the pre-registration form and we will call you when it joins the rollout plan.
How many days does installation take?
After application the installation crew arrives on average within three working days. In buildings needing new infrastructure it can take one to three weeks. Installation is scheduled in two-hour windows.
Are the tariffs genuinely unlimited?
Yes. No residential tariff has a data cap or post-cap throttling (fair use).
Can I move my commitment to another address?
Yes. If you file the move notice at least seven days ahead, your commitment moves to the new address free of charge. If the new address has no infrastructure the contract ends without an early-termination fee.
